My old galaxy tab had never see SP from day one but i had those normal book case which i order from UK. When i sold it after using one year, there wasn't any scratch on the screen at all.

Now i am using my note (bought on launch day) and didn't bother with SP too. Just using Nillkin rubbery case. As of now, no scratches too.

I hated the SP touch and feel.
