i strongly believe that it will be updated via OTA/kies..
if every one go to samsung SC to update, they die.. so many user wanna upgrades...


by the way, did you turn on your GPS sensor?
which version of maps are you using now?

I just flash to substancer la6 version from rocket rom v22..

Straight away I feel it's faster than rocket rom...
Looks like going to be substancer follower for the coming months..

I flash on top of rocket rom without wipe.

stock rom?

go to battery usage, see which app use the most battery power..

any one feel it's faster than gingerbread?

having rooted my note from stock to CF root, flash rocket rom v14...
the CWM remained the same until i jump to v22.. the recovery mode is different... the name is redphil hydroid? something like that...

now i wondering, the recovery mode is sticking together with kernel?
any one can answer?

without root you can't:
overclock/undervolt
backup apps with data (only can back up apps)
no CWM recovery mode (like in bios mode) which can do a full nandroid backup
use root required apps, like adfree (which remove advertisement from browser/games)
install google maps with voice navigation
install market enabler to download apps available in other market
install app that can remove other apps which auto start during phone start up


it's not really that big deal...
just enjoy your phone in stock for few weeks first...

it looks like just upgrading another rocket rom to me the way you are doing it...

it's normal... mine also..

rooting will void the warranty, but you can removing root and users who root before also success to claim warranty

did you:
[*] Before u begin:
(1) make sure u have installed adb drivers for ur device.
OR you can install kies, that will do the job. Kies is here
(2) enable "USB DEBUGGING"
from (Menu\Settings\Applications\Development)
(3) enable "UNKNOWN SOURCES"
from (Menu\Settings\Applications)
(4) [OPTIONAL] increase screen timeout to 10 minutes
(5) connect USB cable to PHONE and then connect to PC
(6) skip "PC Companion Software" prompt on device


Malaysia firmware KK1 can root with zergRush way.

No impact to flash STOCK firmware via Odin.

if you have rooted the phone, flashing it back to stock firmware through Odin will remove root.
Your data should be remain if the ROM is a non-wipe version.

Any app that is similar to air DROID or kies air that can display what's on our device and control through pc? Currently the two software only control through few category.. But cannot display for example whatsapp on pc..
