Hi all ...

I am really new to android phone ... currently my Battery Life is drain due to the display( 49%) .... anyhow to control the display by not using most of the battery life of my GN?

Thanks in advance
*
the % of usage is relative in nature, if your display is taking too much of battery, it may due to few reasons.

First, your display brightness is set to auto or set too high as mentioned by jjamain. Secondly, you're just browsing your phone without actually using it - i mean launching any app like browser or games. It is normal since you just got it, so tends to play with it to understand more.

dun report back one month later and saying why the angry birds (or whatever games/apps) are using high percentage of your battery. Remember, the usage percentage is relative in nature - it is PERFECTLY NORMAL for the apps/games that you use more frequent to be the top battery drainer.

i think this design come out earlier under generic without branding. Maybe Samsung bought from them now. The one i saw earlier has red colour lining at the inside.

u mean if set "AUTO Brightness" will drain battery fast?
*
normally the AUTO setting is higher than required. You can set the brightness much lower manually and still able to see clearly and vividly. I set mine to about 15-20% and can see comfortably bright under normal office lighting.

I tried the test mode on the s-pen n found that this error. Top n left looks like no prob.

Any one have this problem?
*
this has been discussed to death on previous threads. rclxub.gif will pin yours at the first post as FAQ.

it is not a problem (read somewhere online), it is to show the drawing point in front of your s-pen. if you change your setting to left-handed, the area that cannot be drawn will be shift to the left.

no major change...i thought we might have blue color like ics in gnex...
*
you mean no major change in Samsung TouchWiz interface? I think TouchWiz will remain more or less the same.

I really hope that we will get an ASOP pure ICS ROM for Note without the laggy and ugly TouchWiz. doh.gif

nope, only 16GB available. Since it has microSD slot, you can just add a shiny big fat 64GB microSDXC into it. thumbup.gif just around RM500-600 i think. tongue.gif

oh... is it? thought maybe some of you still looking for a holder to hold your phone in the car, but might not hear of this, then maybe can consider getting this. As this is the one I am using, due to my previous holder is too small for notes, and I am happy with it. So, just want to share with everyone here... sad.gif
*
these things has been out ages ago, dun under-estimate the Note users here, we all are the early tech adopters. tongue.gif

p.s. - your QR code signature is so glaring already, no need advertise so obvious also ppl can see you are selling it. wink.gif

somebody, how do i reg for my e-warranty online by myself?
i bought a sme set from my friend who got it from samsung store or smth.i insisted tht it ws sealed thts y cudn reg via sms.so hw do i do it myself on the net?
*
actually Samsung Malaysia insisted all warranty should be done by the sellers. We will need the Seller/Store Code to do the sms warranty registration. So not possible for us to register ourselves thru sms.

You can go to Samsung malaysia support online and email them a copy of the invoice. I tried to register mine that way but until now i still din get the sms confirming the warranty despite the last email they sent to me saying my warranty will be registered shortly. doh.gif
