Hi everyone. I wanna try this Elite R1.3 rom but I got confused with the installation procedure,
1) Once mobile is restarted, we debug (this is very important, you must mark debug on in the SGS) and copy the "4.0.4 beta" in the internal sd and reboot in recovery.

Where can I find this 4.04 beta thing? Is it this?? - 4.0.4 [IMM76K] RC 1.3 –Wipe- (3 wipes) http://letitbit.net/download/46399.4....3(1).zip.html

2) Patch for the “r” of virtual operators... this is the addon I presume.. Is it needed?
3) V11.0 –No Lag version.. is this an addon too? Do I need to install as well??

well I enter download mode, open odin (v 1.52) enter following file CODE_I9000XXJVU_CL851880_REV03_user_low_ship.tar in PDA
GT-I9000-CSC-MULTI-OXAJVU.tar in CSC
MODEM_I9000XXJVU_REV_00_CL1092175.tar in phone

click repartition...start...

I change to odin v1.82 put in the pit file and it works .. wow thanks man

hi guys, successfully flashed Elite RC V1.3.. pretty smooth really.... just I encounter 1 problem.. The face unlock... i was like flashing the file in the op for ten times and yet I cant get it work... The toogles is working fine... Pls any1 enlighten me please... am I missing something? thanks

Yes.. but remained the same... did it work for you?

Edit: I wipe cache partition then follow by lippol cleaning script ... then flash..

Well, SGS was a 2 years old phone.. the thread remains active till today is already very good IMO. Anyway I may need some help I've try to make viber works in Elite Rom but the instruction was very vague..I understand most of it just can't get to it..LOL Hope u guys can spell it out for me.....thanks alot

TO MAKE VIBER WORKS

1. Solution 1
- Modify build prop (i.e with Root Explorer, it is in System dir and with R/O) and replace "GT-I9000" by "SGH-I9000" in the three places where appear
- Maybe it's necessary fix permissions [DALVIK & CWM] (in Advanced option)

2. Solution 2
- Modify build prop (i.e with Root Explorer, it is in System dir and with R/O) and replace "GT-I9000" by "Nexus S" in the three places where appear
- Maybe it's necessary fix permissions [DALVIK & CWM] (in Advanced option)
- With this change, Viber works, and it looks that others app also (including games)

So the file i need to modify is in?? sys? then?

EDIT: the phone apps in elite rom was ugly I use GO dialer but it was unable to? Can anyone offer me another apps? thanks

Aiya I already flashed, nvm later flash again, and if flash with Devil3 kernel will cause bootloop.. dono with new ver.

Edited: The (RC IMM76L 1.4.1 [OFFICIAL STOCK ROM]) NO WIPE ALL [1 WIPE Dalvik-CACHE] by Dexafree is actually a wipe ver cos it wipe mine careful....

Guys I experienced didle twice today.. using elite 1.4.1 with stock kernel.... anyone had similar experience?
