Checking in lol. Just found out about this thread. Right now, I'm currently using Darky's 10.2.2. Its smooth and stable. =) I've tried a couple of other roms but kept on going back to Darky's. What's the current top roms anyway?

From what I read about gamerzrom 5.0, there's too many bugs and stuff for it to be considered stable. ==

Just flashed gamerzrom 6.0. So far, everything is looking good and it's very smooth and fast thus far. Will be tweaking stuff here and there to get optimized performance (if not already).

any1 still using ganmerzrom?
the overheat is too much. i wana change ROM soon.
lol

easily the phone temp can go damn high within 15-20 mins of usage

I agree with this. Gamerzrom 6.3 really heats up very fast. However from the previous versions (6.0 and 6.2) there weren't any problems with overheating. =/

Yeah. Was playing Drag Racing earlier.. Felt like I was holding a hot pan after about 20 minutes. ==

How are the new ICS builds? From what I read, ICSSGS seems really good although I can't make up my mind between this and Hacksung's version.

Stable and smooth eh? Sounds interesting enough.. But here's the big question, is it worth it to change from gamerzrom to ICSSGS? =)

edit: I read that I have to flash a suitable kernel? Semaphore kernel if I'm not mistaken?

Okay. So if I flash over to ICSSGS, I need to do it in CWM? Odin isn't required or mentioned at all in the ICSSGS page. Oh and, is the low storage messages frequent? I sms very heavily and I simply cannot be bothered to delete my messages.

So I can't keep my messages? That kinda sucks cause I like reading back my old messages every now and then.

I think you could try flashing the stock rom. Maybe that could help.

Well, 6.5 didn't let me down. Am downloading V7.01 now. From the reviews, apparently we get a new graphics and better gaming performance.

I tried ICSSGS but it didn't work well for me. Speed was okay but the battery drained way too fast for my liking. I tried using it for a week then I switched back to GB. =)

Well, I am using Gamerzrom 9.0 now. Thus far, it retains the smoothness and speed that is already well known for Gamerzrom versions. Quadrant score shows a slightly higher score compared to 6.5 to 8.1 versions. Haven't tried any of my games yet but browsing is fast and the home dock is as snappy as claimed by the developer.

Definitely recommended. I am using 9.0 and it didn't let me down at all for the whole day.

I can't give a definite answer but that is what I did. I flashed back to stock rom, rooted my phone and then finally flashed back to Gamerzrom after my brief taste of ICS.

Well, the Gamerzrom 9.0 already has a customized kernel which I feel is very suitable lol. Its really fast and stable enough as it is thus no extra flashing is required. =)
