u can create a backup via phone app and it will save the contact inside ur SD/External.. and for more efficient, copy the backup to ur pc/laptop or pendrive..

and use google backup also.. in case if ur pc/laptop or pendrive attack by virus and need to format.. at least u still have the backup on cloud..
