thanks but my phone is from UAE so ...there is no XME to choose
i will need to copy xme from somewhere then paste to /system/csc

BUT i cant find it anymore.  cry.gif

Go Google for the Multi-CSC for your ROM.

I'm sure you can find. Then just flash the CSC into your phone via ODIN.

Actually, no harm running on other country's code, just that our carrier's configurations won't be configured automatically. But still can do it manually. Everything else seems the same.

all ur 3 device now with ICS? nice one happy.gif
btw.. something weird there with ur sig "SGS GT-I9250".. should be SGN/SGNex? biggrin.gif
*
Ahhh, noted. I must be C&P-ing when I made my siggy. Thanks for the notice and I had it up for so long. Paiseh. doh.gif

Yup, flashed all 3 devices to ICS. ICS, really... niceeeeee. Just that my Tab is not quite a tablet OS. It felt very much like phone. So I prefer Honeycomb's features overall. Oh, CM9 KANG on my Tab, doesn't show the battery % on the notification area and battery drain also higher (I set max clock at 1.4GHz la... tongue.gif)

i just flash ICS to my lil sis GTab 7 P1000.. the ICS not same as a phone.. its more like Honeycomb.. the UI more better than phone and it make me jealous on her.. and now she's enjoying using ICS.. but then, my father also want ICS for his GNote.. lol.. i told him to wait for official one la since samsung promise want to give ICS for Gnote..
*
The earlier ICS for GNote very tricky, if want to revert back to GB. There is a new ICS ROM for GNote just release yesterday/2 days ago. Didn't read it, not sure if it's convenient or not. Aside from that, it might render the S-Pen useless as well. See if your father really want to sacrifice the pen.

GTab 7 finally qualified as a tablet, with ICS. laugh.gif

any further tweak can be made here? sweat.gif

Not sure of Volume+.. would help. You can give it a try.

play around first lar~~

after get bored, and hopefully by that time CM9 or ICS STABLE is out... then sui sui lor~ laugh.gif

CM9 Ths is very stable actually. Been using it since... check my siggy's date.

The only complaint by Supercurio (Voodoo's author) is that Ths changed so much that his VoodooSound no longer works for this ROM.

im trying to press down volume instead of sizing it up... this Volume+ apps looks like adding the volume wor~ icon_question.gif

or it has the option to press it down further??

CM9? hmm.gif
*
Volume+ doesn't necessarily up the volume. Give the free version a try, look at the settings, cause there are settings by selecting volume number. Maybe you can try to experiment with volume 1 first? smile.gif

I already flash to ICSSGS from CM9 without wipe data,
anybody knows can ICSSGS have the toggle in notification area like CM9?
*
If I'm not mistaken, ICSSGS doesn't have any toggle as it was based off AOSP.

gajahwhite,

I'm still a bit dizzy with this. rclxub.gif
If actually flashed from XXJVU to GamerzRom. (Now, I'm on GamerzROM) smile.gif
Now I wan to flash from GamerzRom to ICSSGS.

Do I still need to flash from GamerzRom to XXJVU (Stock ROM)
and then to ICSSGS? hmm.gif

Coz, this is the impression I get from you.
Am I right or I have misunderstand you? blush.gif
*
Why worried so much? If you are going to flash, just flash. If failed, revert back to XXJVU, root + CWM it, then flash the sucker ICSSGS and there you go, done! laugh.gif

Hmm, btw do you guys always flash to stock rom then only another custom rom each time testing a rom? coz i been having issues with SU binary update fail (fails @ checking current version). Tested ICS but not my cup of tea, currently looking for a better JVU or JVT custom rom sweat.gif
*
Should go with CM7 then.

Any ROMs based on Sammy's stock ROM are pretty useless. It will lag after 2 months of usage. The ext conversion just... not complete.

CM7 is the best lagfix for GB and ICS is overall fix with improved performance on everything. At least for this phone.

CM7 for some reason gives bad battery life, MIUI is better.

I thought it was the other way round?

MIUI is based on CM7 as well, right?

Not sure if its based on CM7, but somehow, the battery life is much better on MIUI.
Maybe its better system management. I have no idea.

But its not like 10% or 20% difference, the difference is around 70% to 80% extra battery life.

I was on CM7 for a long time, but the battery life can drop 50-60% in a few hours. It then became better until it drops 4-5% an hour.
MIUI can easily last a whole day of moderate usage.

I like touchwiz on my SGS2, not the launcher, but the framework.
*
Interesting. I never ventured into MIUI. Last I checked, my CM7 can't last even 4 hours on full 3G. lol

TW is ok, with 3G video call, HD video recording/playback, toggle control on notification bars. Just launcher sucks and Accuweather with backdoor.

ICSSGS doesn't give the gapps fix zip file like Ths does? Ths gapps fix fixes the minor glitches in Google Apps. It works, no problem with Calendar sync.
