after month lurking around see-ing other ppl modding..so here i am..modding my 500r to fit rx and rs 240 inside case with red and black theme

haha..today i've started my wc project for mid sem break..well..u might notice that i did post few thread on gs regarding downgrade my system to 2600k...

after alot of consideration..having x79 not a bad idea..besides it does benefit me on my uni work..and gaming for future quad-sli..and gen3 matured gc..

anyway here are some list of my hardware

the theme is red n black *so predictable

cut 5.25 bay to fit rx240 (standby queuing)
mod removable 3.25 bay(standby queuing)
side panel mesh to window (standby queuing)
mod top panel to fit rs240+fan (standby )
psu sleeving(standby )

anyway latest update...rx240 now fix in front of the case and the hardrive bay were modified to fit with psu on bottom..now waiting for acrylic

update

as i said..done making space for the rad paint job is done..got it just now..drive bay cut to fit with the psu..

picture 1 and 2 shows the modifide 5" bay to fit the rx 240..so now i have extra space for rs240 rad on top woot

picture 3 shows the finish paint job..



now sadding..need to wait for acrylic and sleeve and led light..the rs240 will wait for mobo block that if im consider getting one

support ma...for now i need sleeve and acrylic..then i can call it 80% finish..hehe

having trouble tday fixing the fan with front panel..need to grind and cut few area only to fit the fan in front

will update more tommorow

ya laa...570 sli..woot under water also..total same price with already..even more i think

580 matrix lose with 570 sli..ur wc set is godlike

anyway..just finish out grinding and cutting..now fan can fit infront of the casing

will upload the picture soon..now waiting for sleeve and acrylic

any1 have 30m red sleeve and 3meter heatshrink to sell??

update picture..now the fan can fit..clearance on the front panel has been made...hdd drive has been cut..

its a long wait for the acrylic and the sleeve cable

Will need to wait for my acrylic to arrive..the seller havnt reply my pm yet

I will hide it with psu..so u wont see it..will use acrylic to make some box shape at the bottom of the case

Anyway just recieve maximus gen-z and 2500k for free..so decided to use it on this project..

For now gonna find bigger case for sb-e..500r too crowded when u add mobo wb..

Btw can recommend good case for wc setup at same range as 800d corsair?or modded tj07 which is good?

Hehehe..my mod 500r is good enough for that range..looking for extreme cooling case..

Interested in caselab casing..is there any for 800d price range?

hahaha..sorry bro..alot of thing happen lately since rumah sewa kena pecah masuk..

so..tpaksa beli low tier gaming rig...3930k nye build simpan kat rumah..

anyway..here are few updates..

the 500R casing actually 80% complete..leh tgk kat corsair league casing thread for pict..but some1 really interested in buying my 500r case..so tpaksa let go with good price..

now for this coming semester break..will start new one on cosmos S which was recently bought..

will upload more photo..soon when i have free time..skang busy on uni assignment and project..
