hi is it true that serviced apartments in malaysia are not protected by law? ie u cant sue the developer if something goes wrong?

I previously booked a unit in the court, but then decided not to go ahead with it, and the sales agent from yuk tung promised to refund my deposit more than a month ago, but now they are not responsive to my emails at all. can anyone help?

hey guys thank you all for all your advice, people from yuk tung gave me a call this morning saying that they will process the refund and i will have it in a month's time, so i'll see how it goes in a month.
