By the way do you have any trick to switch between keyboard?
Love sweep function when typing English

I suggest you try TouchPal as it supports sweep typing, chinese handwriting and PinYin etc...Very powerful and free.

Gyroscope vs Accelerometer

QUOTE
The difference between gyroscope and accelerometer is that the former can sense rotation, the latter cannot

I think Google Sky is using gyro to operate rotation accurately. Some games also use gyro to detect rotation, anyone can point out a game that uses gyro? I seldom play android games.

Anyone with G version can do a quick test for me and post the list:
download sensor list from market.

Then post a screenshot here.

Or android system info app -> system -> sensors and take screen shot.

Positron doesn't know what he/she is talking about.
Screen rotation is controlled by orientation sensor, just did a double check on the sensor list on my s2.

I think you were right about it. Just found a better answer @ stackoverflow

QUOTE
The methods included in the Android APIs to get the orientation does not include readings from the gyroscope sensor. Gyroscope does not provide information about orientation, since it only has information about rotation speed.

if not mistaken the game uses gyro sensor is BIA2 from samsung apps
deleted long time ago cant remember the full name though
you need to rotate your screen to get your character to move to your left or right
for the sensor i have tried andro sensor before
list quiet a number of sensor available in s2
maybe you can try it

Just used andro sensor from market. Here's the screenshots:

Accelerometer: moving speed towards axis. A good example is speed prediction in GPS map navigation.
Gyroscope: rad/s in unit = radian per second. If you spin your phone 1 round in 1 second on a balanced table, x = 1 (if not mistaken). I tried to spin fast on my palm, I saw a value of 0.8xxxx .
Orientation: Detects the direction of your phone.

Can anyone tell me why is my Android os draining up so much battery? I left the phone unused for 6 hours and it used up 15% of my batt.. Phone is rooted and flashed superrom
*
Download and install BetterBatteryStats. When battery drain to 10~20%, open BetterBateryStats, choose "partial wakelocks" and "since process charge", then screenshot and post here.

not optimized is when you play the game or when you download?
*
I also got this not compatible message when I try to download in market.
By the way, my default Internet browser auto close after few seconds when I open it. Google Map also have same problem. They were ok till last week, not sure why is this happens. I'm thinking to flash ICS ROM, which is the best ICS ROM recently?
