Guys guys, ask you something. I lost my IMEI last 2 weeks ago and after some experiment, got IMEI back or some sort. Today ichy hand check and realized that my phone IMEI on phone setting is different from the IMEI printed behind the phone.

To restore back the original IMEI, I could only do so by going back to Samsung Service Centre right?

I know this has no harm but I am just curious.

Some kernel has higher charging such as NEAK has higher than Siyah if I am not mistaken.

Bro nicregi,if you don't mind me asking, what kinda experiments were you doing? ROM changing of some sort?

Really? Haha, thanks! That'll put my fears to rest. In G version, what does it function as then? If it's on for the whole time?

Bros,I have a G set here. Anybody here has a list of stock ROM apps that can be frozen without damaging the S2 infrastructure? Thanks!

Try this.

Flash stock ROM via odin. Let everything go back normal first.

After that, install CWM and boot back into recovery.

Should work now and good luck.

Bro, in XDA there is a topic. Anyway with Uncle Google can go a long way smile.gif

Here you go: http://samsunggalaxysforums.com/showthread...plications-list

*p/s removing Google stuff MIGHT FC your phone abit. First time after removing might FC, so just reboot.

Discovered that earlier bro,but isn't it only for non-G version? A bit confuse here, does it equal to G version in terms of apps structure? Thanks bro! Appreciate it!

Hey guys, does your phone have Market consistently running in the background? It's kinda annoying after a while. Thinking of freezing Messaging,Email and Map though. Any other suggestion?

So what if it is. Our device got more than sufficient memory and there do not seem to be any noticeable batt drain. Android is design to run with these services in the background.

Really? Thanks for the input bro. Learning so much more about Android from day to day. All thanks to the otais at this thread and S 2 G ver thread. My first Android phone, and loving the hell out of it,despite people claiming that G version is laggy and buggy, still can't find its fault. Thanks sifus! laugh.gif

Our device has such big memory, why u worry abt these processes eating up ur ram anyways? Its like buying a Ferrari but drive it at 20km/h. They don't drain much batt anyways.

@waveweaver can send files too? o.O i thought only share links, its cool but i can live without it biggrin.gif

I'm not as so much as worrying about the RAM as I'm worrying about the battery consumption. The RAM is more than I can ever use, only using minimal mod like Go Launcher and as such. smile.gif

Still can't get over the fact that I can't use the camera without it hanging or the fact that I can't use my external sdcard without hanging doh.gif

Bro,G user here, and I don't have any of the problems you mentioned. Any idea where does the problem stem from?

Nope, don't use lock at all, I think its annoying, I just lock my private apps like messaging and stuff

Even if they give you new unit, you'd still have pink spot. Just flash back stock rom via this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1075278

Maybe bro. But one spite I have with the phone would be the phone's brightness if I set it to auto. Looks to dark compared to my sister's Optimus Black on the same auto brightness setting, the OB screen looks astonishing and beautiful.
