How's the battery life in general? I felt DOC Surgeon + HyperDroid burning some battery even with simple browsing...
*
for now feel like batt life on CheckROM is better but still need to monitor it since just realize today hyperdroid come with most of Samsung bloatware doh.gif freezing it and will see if the batt life can improve.

Higher amount of LMK reduce multitasking but improve performance. I could be mixed up but I believe I read correctly last month  blush.gif

I also noticed that when I use HyperDroid, phone gets pretty hot during the starting part like booting up time. I mean warmer than usual...
*
yupe, I notice that to. also feel that its hotter while charging as well but not crazy hot, just hotter compare to when I was on checkrom.

Umm, there are different screenstate_scaling addons? >.< where??

Nope, multitasking capabilities will still be there. SGSII has a big amount of RAM, so don't worry about multitasking smile.gif
*
between these two, found it on the original thread sweat.gif

ThunderBolt-CWM screenstate_scaling addon v1.4.14.zip
ThunderBolt-CWM screenstate_scaling addon v1.5.zip << Is this the newer version?

Especially after the reboot, the phone takes forever to boot up. The longest was 15 minutes when I flashed DOC Surgeon's theme.

I thought bootloop jor  sweat.gif

Yeah smile.gif
Yeah, that's true. However, I'm a proponent of users having to install the tweaks themselves so that they themselves know what they're putting into their phone. Knowledge is power. That's what XDA is about (initially I think). Nowadays, devs tend to want to dumb users down and sell them snake oil :S
*
thanks, gonna try flashing it now sweat.gif

agree with your statement. even though I don't understand half of this tweaking stuff at least already understand the other half of it thumbup.gif

do I need to do these steps when flashing addons?

Mount /data, /system and /sdcard in CWM (IMPORTANT!) (When mounted, it will show "unmount /system" for example. This means that an unmounted partition will show a "mount /system" for the /system partition)

When you explore the zip you'll see where the files are going to. So you need to mount those I believe

Um no. As in you know, when you download to your computer. Then no need unzip just buka tengok, you'll see the folders in there (eg : system folder, then that's where those files are going)

To be safe you can mount all those mentioned I guess  biggrin.gif

successfully install all addons but confuse on how to check sreenstate_scaling

If you use the screenstate_scaling addon and then use ADB, and when the screen is off, you will get:
Code:
CODE
dirty_ratio = 90
dirty_background_ratio = 75
vfs_cache_pressure = 1

what's ADB? sweat.gif

I have also use script to insmod before and didn't need the su command.

Make sure the module is available for insmod. Have the module already been loaded?  And as pikachu said use notepad+ +.  Not any normal notepad
