I dunno..i've been using both before and i still prefer GNote as i found GNex is quite sluggish and the sound is really slow. Maybe a few updates later will improve the GNex.
p/s - just bought (again) white GNote yesterday :-P

GNote screenlock is quite the same with GNex. Only different is GNex screenlock is transparent and can be sweep open at any/all direction compared with left or right on GNote.

But i still prefer the ICS style lock screen, looks nicer in my opinion. I think gnexus sluggy cuz of the GPU, since its a not so powerful gpu plus a HD screen, bound to lag abit. If Samsung does the ICS optimization right, galaxy s2 will definitely get the king of android throne thumbup.gif well that depend what screen size they prefer

Then no pew pew Android Beam for you as our S2 dont have NFC. Only recently got some trader start selling non-G with NFC enable. With that type of S2 (GT-I9100P) i think you can get full ICS function :-)

But like i said., you wont have a fully function ICS as we dont have NFC. For me no news yet is a good news as i got more time for funds saving. No need to ikat perut to own S3.
Or you can trade your S2 now and get the AP set NFC enable GT-I9100P version. But beware..once you flash custom roms you'll lose your NFC function.

Can link me to the rom? yawn.gif I shall wait for antt00 to come back so I can ask him wink.gif

Sorry to say I am not familiar with the lockscreen. blush.gif But it is not a straight forward thing. Its related to frameworks and changing frameworks not meant for your rom will make it go into a bootloop. Its better you leave it alone.

Hey guys, does your phone have Market consistently running in the background? It's kinda annoying after a while. Thinking of freezing Messaging,Email and Map though. Any other suggestion?

So what if it is. Our device got more than sufficient memory and there do not seem to be any noticeable batt drain. Android is design to run with these services in the background.

Really? Thanks for the input bro. Learning so much more about Android from day to day. All thanks to the otais at this thread and S 2 G ver thread. My first Android phone, and loving the hell out of it,despite people claiming that G version is laggy and buggy, still can't find its fault. Thanks sifus! laugh.gif

Our device has such big memory, why u worry abt these processes eating up ur ram anyways? Its like buying a Ferrari but drive it at 20km/h. They don't drain much batt anyways.

@waveweaver can send files too? o.O i thought only share links, its cool but i can live without it biggrin.gif
