Hi guys, hope i ask in the right section

My question is which external hard dick is best for use on smart tv? FYI, i am referring to watching downloaded movies/videos on my samsung smart tv.

I have to external hard disk that is WD element 1TB, and buffalo PNTU3 1TB. based on my experience, WD element tend to be a bit slow and the video played on the tv seems to be "buffering". Compare to buffalo on the other hand all smooth sailing with no buffering whatsoever.

I went to pc depot to look for buffalo external hard disk and they went out of stock. The only option they have is WD element, passport ultra and seagate backup plus.

Can anyone share experience which external hard disk perform best on smart tv? Thanks.
