Is Western Digital VelociRaptor (the latest one) 1TB HDD is okay for normal use?

i only trust hgst and samsung drives only.

seagate and western digital disappointed me x_x;
that said, HGST's Ultrastar He8 helium-filled hard disk are friggin expensive.... compared to the more traditional hdd (non-helium types)
