Hi guys,

I got a problem here. Last 3 days, my laptop had been infected with virus. In order to me to get the data back, I went to buy SSD for my laptop and the original HDD I take out and I put in a HDD enclosure. The problem here is my laptop cant detect the HDD. I open disk management and saw the HDD is there but i cant open it.

So, whats the problem with my HDD? Can u guys help me.

Thanks in advance.

There is no way to fix this. Vacums produce a huge amount of electrostatic waves. When you put it near a sensitive electronic hardware, the hardware is going to get damaged. I suggest for you to backup your files asap and if your drive is still under warranty, send it for RMA. If it is not, well its time to get a new one.
In Disk Management, right click on the drive and select "Change Drive Letter" or "Assign Drive Letter" . Choose a Drive Letter ( D , E , F etc) and your computer should detect the HDD.

Will take later. On disk management, it show that my HDD is dynamic while the other one that I have show basic. Is this correct? When I want to change it back to basic, it say that it will erase all the data in my HDD.
