I assume this means my HDD is dying, even SeaTools SDT returns "FAILED"... Weirdly SMART gives a solid green pass
 
Kinda disappointed with Samsung, yea it's fast and cheap and all but no where near as reliable as few of the WDs which have been running in my other PCs at least 6000hrs longer than this Samsung. This post has been edited by Dreamworks: Feb 26 2012, 10:52 PM |

Just bought a 1TB Toshiba Canvio Plus for RM249 on Sunday, did not experience cable issues like those on Amazon or maybe because I place it on a stable desk
 Transfer rate peaks at 110MB/s and averages ~100MB/s with USB3.0, pretty good imo for a portable drive and way faster than my old desktop WD Green. |
