Hi guys, I've a Samsung 1TB hard disk which was bought from another lowyat forummer. During shipping, Poslaju dropped it quite hard i guess and there's a noticable large chip of plastic that broke off on the corner. Obviously it doesn't work anymore.

It's still under warranty until 2014. Is there any possibility of getting through RMA sucessfully in this circumstance?

Still dangerous. I got burned once when I purchased a RMA'ed hard disk. Seller didn't pack it safe enough, Poslaju dropped it and I'm now trying to get it RMA'ed again. For mechanical HDDs I still suggest buying through shops as a safer option.
