Anyone have an idea what is the best external 2TB harddrive one could get at the moment?

Bought a 1TB in 2010, now filled to the brim with anime and stuff biggrin.gif

Now a days the external HDDs has different features but if you are looking for a plain & simple 2.5" ext HDD you could go with SG's Backup Plus Slim selling around RM365. Others from Transcend offer shock-protection at higher price.
Alright, perhaps I should have been more specific. notworthy.gif

I don't really need a 2.5 " external HDD; I want something cheaper, like that of a 3.5" instead.

I'm not really the carrying type, just the need more space kinda person.

Oh. Is there any difference between Seagate and WD in terms of quality? How about in comparison to other brands that exist?

I know I sound foolish, it's just I'm very new to this. notworthy.gif

Oh.Crap. No wonder I've been seeing threads about replacement boards for WD HDDs.

So far, my old 1TB WD from 2010 still ain't dead yet...

Also, what is this I hear about SSD/HDD hybrids?

I meant to ask what are these SSD/HDD hybrids that I'm hearing about?

I just want to know what they are, and might they be worth it to replace my current HDD with one of these in my laptop.

I get all and that, but is the Seagate SSHD the only one that is worth it, or is there something better in the horizon (besides a SSD, of course) ?

Also, to anyone who recommends me a Lazada or IPMart deal, please reconsider it; hearing the horror stories on /k are killing me.
