Do you mind give us your full PC specs? Includes every single thing, PSU, chassis that you use, etc.
And if possible age of each item, just roughly how many years.
Those information can helps us choose your PSU, and may help rectify other issue.

It could be a problem with the PSU.

Here's a recent topic on the matter, which also contains suggestions of replacement PSUs: PSU 450w EXPLODED with ASUS GTX 550

Last I checked, lowyat.net was quite out-of-date. I'd recommend http://www.hardwarezone.com.my/priceLists for a more up-to-date list.

Use vendor provided software if available to get the error code for easy RMA, otherwise the vendor such as Seagate or WDC will not accept your RMA unless provided.
If you feels there's data corruption and those vendor software does not help (does not gives any error) then you'll need to raise an issue with them stating your situation (through email support) then probably they can give you RMA with special case, but of course you need legit and solid evidence that your HDD really causing issue and you have serious problem with it.
Good luck with it. wink.gif

Be careful on the thickness of the SSD too. Check the spec before make any procurement.
