anybody buy from www.cyber-hobby.com be4? it is online shop in Hong kong.

ok...now i m in sandakan, sabah, n my hlj package is destinationed to sandakan oso. but i check the japan post ems tracking, my package arrived in KL...but, the status is always:Awaiting presentation to customs commissioner. oledi 1 day liao....

Q1 : how long they need to 'presentation'
Q2 : after presentation, they send to sandakan? or they want the receiver to go to KL to pay tax if there is any? (<-- die loh if macam tu...)
Q3 : Aren't they supposed to Tokyo>KL>KK>Sandakan? then examined by Sandakan Kastam? i saw that kastam got a big ofis building just beside the Sandakan ofis leh...

aik...mine subtotal =16700. if tambah postage= 20,200...i think convert to RM will be RM600++...

Bugger Kastam!!!

Bought a model kit from HLJ. EMS to sandakan. Total is 16,700 Yen = 500.955 MYR

below is wat the 'Taksiran'

ISI Bungkusan( sebagaimana diikrar)
Isi/ Kod tarif/ Kuantiti/ Unit
Toys 9503.00.500/2/UNT

Ditaksir oleh kastam
Duti+eksais+cukai Jualan= jumlah
32.18+0.00+67.57=99.75

so the tax is 19.9%!!!

KK kastam never call n they MACAM never buka the box to check, n neither they look at the invoice HLJ attached at the box cover ( the invoice still sealed tight in its plastic cover). mb they just look at the value tat the sender wrote at the EMS sticker?

when ask the pos laju girl how to appeal? she says no kastam in sandakan, u have to talk to KK kastam loh ... ( i m in sandakan leh...5 hours drivin / 30 minutes flight )



is there anything i can do ?

i check the Kastam Tarrif website, TARI 9503, the kastam seems to be simply tax me...

i bayar oledi, can i appeal n request for refund?

mb those who r not living at the capitol city is always the most unfortunate punya....canot negotiate, appeal, etc...

on monday i m going to start writing, to kk kastam offis, the pos ofis kastam n oso the kl hq. hope to get their attention

call up kastam pejabat pos kk today. telefonist sambung here n there at last can talk to the officer. but dun understand wat he xplained on phone. so i write and fax to him all info i have: invoice, kastam notis etc.

surprisingly that officer called me bec, n step by step he guide me how to kira...i assume he had a kakulator n all the info with him, fully prepared.

although the tax hurt me a bit, but eventually i felt relieve as my doubt is clear, becoz he is quite proffesional, talk oso lemah lembut...

probably they have to send a manual on describing how to change the part, which screw to unscrew, etc. i become part time toy fixer liao...

i never used SAL be4...so i have no idea how long will it takes.

received email from hlj, will provide me a replacement.

but they r using SAL...

have to wait liao...

anybody buy online from xl-shop be4? how is their packing for postal?

kawan-kawan, need advice here.

i bought something from US. the total value is macam ini=toy+postage=USD100. should be something like Rm350.
if i use normal registered package service, will i be tax?
if use EMS, will i be tax oso? plz advice.

ok guys, this is a RARE case.

bought something from hlj. as i m moving interstate, i have the address changed to 'Not confirm, moving interstate'. However, the hlj staff charge my credit card, n EMS the items to the 'Not confirm, moving interstate'...

word of advice: always leave the credit card info blank to avoid MISHAP from happening.

p/s: a sign tat japanese english is WORSE than malaysian. MALAYSIA BOLEH!!!

action: oledi cepat cepat email them to retract the shipment... try to fax to them oso, but telekom said: nombor yg anda dial, tidak terdapat dalam perkhidmatan....
