Anyone here brought the item from hobbyfan? If I buy an item above rm1000 and use ems service, will the kastam tahan it?

Can anyone share their experience on this case? For example, if you are a frequent buyer from AmiAmi and Mandarake (like 1 or 2 figure per month but below RM500) but got held by kastam once due to one package exceeding RM500. If you were to continue buying from oversea after that, will they stop every item, including the one below RM 500, since they have your name and address?
