so where the custom office? mine is beside the lcc klia. i got tax rm32 for RM300 figurine from HLJ but it is up to you to argue as below RM500 supposed to be tax free.

for ems from hlj and hobbysearch for the past week had been 3 days!!!!!! that is faster than my EMS shipment from HK.......... dont know why though?????

nope EMS is not the same as UPS. EMS will not take more than 5 days to ship from Japan to Malaysia as far as i had tried before.

it depend on the custom whether do they noticed that the currency is in yen or not. if he didnt notice that then sure you need to go to the custom to collect it.

you forgotten they charge 3 or 4 percent if you pay by credit card or paypal. toy-wave got some rare items not available in hlj or hobbysearch.

btw toy-wave offered lotsa of shipment choices compared the rest.

well last month i went there and i saw that a board written anything above RM200 is taxable so it depend on the customs's mood.

for toys/figure, the tax is 10 percent + 5 percent on the total amount plus shipment.

btw do you used EMS because all my taxes came from using EMS.

first time i see my EMS tracking written in "IN CUSTOM", normally arrival/departure inward office of exchange. luckily didnt get detained.
