nope EMS is not the same as UPS. EMS will not take more than 5 days to ship from Japan to Malaysia as far as i had tried before.
it depend on the custom whether do they noticed that the currency is in yen or not. if he didnt notice that then sure you need to go to the custom to collect it. |

well last month i went there and i saw that a board written anything above RM200 is taxable so it depend on the customs's mood.
for toys/figure, the tax is 10 percent + 5 percent on the total amount plus shipment. btw do you used EMS because all my taxes came from using EMS. This post has been edited by choiheng: Jul 4 2006, 10:34 PM |

first time i see my EMS tracking written in "IN CUSTOM", normally arrival/departure inward office of exchange. luckily didnt get detained.
