there is actually no hard rules for more or less than MYR500. Customs can detain, if they so wish, anything that passes our borders. Normally, they would assume goodies worth ~500 as for personal consumption and let the parcel passes through...however..if the customs declaration up front says tobacco, liquor, cd, dvd...more probable than not; will be detained for tax purposes. I've imported quite a bit of toys (r/c stuffs)..with variable results. Rechargeable batteries carry quite a hefty import and sale taxes

wow...ya guys shop with R10? R/C kakis would rarely do it there since their prices are exactly like that of recommended retail price

why don't you try Tamiya Underground at 1Utama?...they stock quite a bit polycarbonate and plastic paints
