hi guys...
i would like to ask that if i buy something online and i bank in money to the seller
account how to make the seller notice that..
sorry for asking noob question ...since i am not very understand the online order prosedur
thank you

I don't really understand your question. You mean how to let the seller knows that you've banked in the cash?

If you bank in via the ATM, you can get the receipt from the ATM, scan or take a photo of it and e-mail it to the seller as a proof.

If you do online transaction, take a screenshot of the transaction and email it to the seller.

hi guys,
sorry but I'm a noob at this sort of thing, and I want to know whether SAL includes registration? I want to order Mr Super Clear Flat and a female Obitsu body from HLJ, and from a few pages in this thread, some people say if you use SAL you will have to pay tax, whereas EMS doesn't require any. Which do you guys think I should use? The total if not including shipping is RM 82, shipping with SAL would be RM 17. If I were to use EMS the shipping would be double the price. Thanks. smile.gif
*
SAL does not include registration, thus you can't track it.

SAL or EMS, both also you have to pay tax BUT if you use SAL, the customs have the right to tax you regardless of the total cost of the items, even if its just RM100. If you use EMS, the customs only have the right to tax you if the total cost of the items is more than RM500.

Total cost = Item cost + Shipping Cost + Insurance (if you have)

I can see that the stuff you wanna order only costs RM82. Why not but more stuff or ask some frends whether they wanna get anything from there? You can share and save shipping cost and use EMS lolz.

ok...now i m in sandakan, sabah, n my hlj package is destinationed to sandakan oso. but i check the japan post ems tracking, my package arrived in KL...but, the status is always:Awaiting presentation to customs commissioner. oledi 1 day liao....

Q1 : how long they need to 'presentation'
Q2 : after presentation, they send to sandakan? or they want the receiver to go to KL to pay tax if there is any? (<-- die loh if macam tu...)
Q3 : Aren't they supposed to Tokyo>KL>KK>Sandakan? then examined by Sandakan Kastam? i saw that kastam got a big ofis building just beside the Sandakan ofis leh...

pening pening...

IMO, once your parcel is in Malayisa, KL, you have to contact PosLaju and check with them coz sometimes JapanPost EMS will update slow since your parcel is already in Msia.

They will send to Sabah..dun worry..
Normally since the parcel is to be sent to Sabah and Sabah/Sandakan has its own kastam, they will send it there.

I recommend you to check with PosLaju nearby your area, just give them a call and tell them the tracking number smile.gif

item: vf-1s with strike pack
from: hlj

inspect my vf-1s...bugger, is broken!!!

it is an internal part, definately is not a 'damage in shipment'

tat part no need to use force to move, definately not my fault either as i never apply brute force.

emailed to hlj to complaint...will update their respond.

really my UNLUCKY day vmad.gif .... sux by kastam, now a broken kit pulak... rclxub.gif

That's the downside of online purchase..you can't check the condition before buying..

I don't think HLJ can do much about it. Even if they allow you to exchange the product, you still have to bear the shipping cost to Japan..

yes, just call pos laju, i nominate them as the custom clearance agent, and they said my parcel will be taxed for 15%, but forgot to ask them, 15% of total (including postage) or 15% of item only?
*
its always 15% of the final total of the invoice which is of course incl. postage. If there are insurance charges then they will also consider it

I bought a PVC figure from XL-SHOP and they already out my shipment on monday via City-Link. Problem is I haven't received the thing and it's already Wednesday. Why is it taking so long? This is how they call themselves courier service?

Wonder why xl-shop chose them as their first choice delivery. GeDex is so much better...

Which part of Malaysia are you in?

Maybe they came once but you're not around?

Pos Laju charge you Rm45 if i not mistaken, then you have to pay tax as well. You go there yourself, bus RM18 two-way + tax only smile.gif
*
Yup! Moreover the customs advice that it's better if you go to the customs and pick the item up yourself. So if you need to pay tax, you can discuss with the customs to lessen the amount of tax you have to pay. There was once when they detain my CDs from Play-Asia, the tax was supposed to be almost RM80 but in the end I only had to pay RM40 ^^

What's the shipping method? You need to visit the customs at KLIA.

bought from Amazon, Expedited Int'l Shipping. sad.gif

I'm not sure what shipping method is that..but usually what you have to do is print out an invoice by Amazon, drive to KLIA and be prepared to pay tax.

You can try to negotiate with the officers to reduce your tax.

However if you're shipping method is EMS or SpeedPost, you'll be exempted from tax if the total cost of the item you bought is less than RM500 (total cost = item cost + shipping cost).

Btw, how did you receive the letter? Via normal post or PosLaju?

It depends on what's your item. They will refer to a book which shows the percentage of tax you have to pay from different types of items.

I think for figures..its 15%, CDs is around 30% and DVDs is around 50% (according to ketua kastam..not sure true or not)

Right! And also not that our parcels will get detained by customs everytime.

Henry, next time try not to buy anything which will cost you more than RM500 even if you use EMS/Speedpost. Its risky.. smile.gif

Maybe you can call the customs. I've heard that books will not be taxed..but its better for you to confirm with the custom officers.
