wow, i didn't know the shipping fees for 2 boxes of model kit can be that expensive.

Btw the prices are in yen from HLJ

SAL with tracking number is expensive bro, comparable with EMS.. if the quantity is small i'd suggest using EMS instead..

Spend your XP points on Luck perk.

Hehe, just kidding. There's really nothing much I can advise you. Maybe some veteran here know a trick or 2 to get pass the Customs?

order too much = pay tax

so the lesson is, dont order too much in 1 parcel next time. try to make your parcel small

The value of the shipment is as per the commercial invoice attached on the box. There won't be any guessing game here.

Hi All Senior,

I have a parcel ( collectible toys ) kena detained by custom, total amount is about RM 700 with postage, does it mean i gonna pay the tax? May I know approximate figure? Call to the helpline and they just ask me to go there for collection, kena tax or not dunno, status all dunno.

Tomolo have to go custom for collection, can senior here suggest what to do, and what not to do over there? If kena tax can nego, or void?

Got few times purchased from HLJ, all reached and super fine condition, even using SAL and EMS service ( maybe less than RM 500 ).

Thanks!

If they knew Japanese don't lie in declaring the value of the items.  tongue.gif

Was the 10% import duty or sales tax? There were 2 taxes, where 10% first, then another 5% on top of the total amount.
*
last time I imported something from japan they didnt believe in the value so they just assume their own amount

last time 5% import duty and 10% sales tax

5% import duty has been abolished in Budget 2011
