Hi all, I am new owner of this 'wonder' phone. Bought it on 31 dec 2011.
all this while Im just a silent reader.

Just finished reading the thread from V1 to V4 and root my phone thanks for all the guides and information posted here.

I root using recovery mode,very easy. now thinking to flash using cow's rom or wait his latest stable release..

successfully flashed to cow's slim ROM yesterday. very smooth and stable.. more ram space summore due to many bloatware removed.

first, you have to flash clockworkmod recovery first in order to install custom rom. then put the .zip rom in the sdcard (usb storage) then you reboot into CWM recovery mode and install the .zip rom.


for the not enough space maybe you can clear some data in your storage.

Im not using any power saving app because im a heavy phone user, whatsapp,twitter, fb and net surfing so i need 3g connection all the time..

But, even im always online the battery can last much better than my previous phone which is iphone 3gs. this phone can give me 10-11 hours compared with my iphone only last 7-8hours only.

I no regret i change my phone. this phone rocks!

I use cow's slim rom, the one using stock launcher with removed bloatwares and swap storage..no problem whatsoever.

thats weird. i think you should send your phone for warranty claim. maybe battery problem.
