stimix, and use a tripod... essential for macro shots at mid to high appertures... as for someone who mentioned manual lenses.. do try a hand at them.. there are some good lenses for a fraction of the cost but ala leica, zeiss, nokton manual focusing, apperture controls.. do have a look at the pentax takumars m42 mount lenses.. good lenses.. cameras come and go.. these lenses will stay on in my dry box. ps.. there was a gathering of the nex users.. a tt session where peeps exchanged ideas, views and info about all things nex.. QUOTE(nlik @ Feb 23 2012, 02:28 PM) i use a lenspen model than can twist/tilt the tip.. quite of..'but 1st off u need a whatchamight call it.. ah a loupe to check the sensor to figure out what kinda dirt u have.. the loupe magnifies the area of the sensor, some even have a built in illumination light.. Added on March 4, 2012, 1:26 pm QUOTE(epsilon_chinwk86 @ Feb 23 2012, 07:21 PM) keep sucks! lotsof flare as if the lens is not coated with anti flare ,thats what i got from my keep uv filter.. QUOTE(stimix @ Feb 27 2012, 12:06 PM) It's just amazing that >30yrs old lens can do such a great job that I don't think the newest, expensive NEX lenses can do well..haha..my 2sen u guys shud really start up a new thread for nex with manual lenses and have a teh tarik session where peeps who have these lenses can gather and exchange views, compare lenses, sell/buy lenses..u guys can make this into a thriving thread and ala pasar malam for legacy lenses i have about 8 manual lenses with me but stopped the buying spree since got not much time to go shooting.. and there's a saying, the nex is actually a rear lens cap.. LOL!! |

QUOTE(axii @ Mar 26 2012, 09:38 PM) Wrong. yeah.. just had a look at the drybox.. its 49mm..All E-mount lenses use 49mm except for the SEL18200, which is at 67mm. 49mm lens caps (rear/front) are hard to come around here. I suggest you try eBay. Or Studio Zaloon; would be a good shot. rear cap can be gotten from some fellas in the garage sale.. comes with both body and rear lens cap.. i bought abt 5 pairs of them.. any one wants the body cap? LOL oh.. just read that there's caps in 1U.. This post has been edited by jtan.pdr: Mar 27 2012, 06:06 PM |
