B&H dont accept Paypal from malaysia, only US,canada and UK customers only can paypal

cuz we invest in this kind of hobby, we will definitely take care our equipment very well, so sometimes i doubt i use the warranty at all :/

lets say i accidently drop down and the lens mount pecah, i doubt also the warranty will cover for it.... advise me if im wrong on this

cuz as far my experience in warranty, if pretty much like firmware prob, if will cover, but if like something is damage or crack etc. u still need to pay for the repairs whether the warranty covers or not....

but true, i will say that having the warranty is more secure your purchases

Im willing to sell the basic kit lens when the 16-50 pancake comes out
or if someone owning a NEX6 but dowan the 16-50 pancake, i want buy

16-50 shud cost more than 18-55

it has a wider end and power zoom function

basic 18-55 is not

its most probably studio zaloon is using the 16-50 exclusive kit from the NEX6

i most likely visit Studio Zaloon end of nov to see whether they are selling the 16-50 separately

Im pretty sure this lens now is low in stock, thats why only exclusive to NEX6

i highly doubt u can find in other shops selling 5R + 1650

studio zaloon is an authorized sony alpha dealer, so its possible for them

as for other shops, u have to search around KL then

if u want 1650 set, i suggest u wait till end nov, since u say ur trip is end dec

btw its abit too small for my hand, i hold the grip, only 2 and half my fingers cover the grip, lol

Here is a video test with the NEX5R ytd night i shot

shot with basic 18-55 kit and ISO1600

a simple straight forward video to test low light



PS: ISO1600 still clean and usable for video

some info for Future owners of the 16-50 power zoom lens

distortion is massive, but due to build in distortion control in the Nex camera, u get straight img.

but if u shoot RAW, distortion control wont be applied

Shot a video job ytd with it also, clients and photographers were slightly "surprise" seeing me shooting with that

Noise Performance also usable at ISO3200 (haven tried video at 3200 yet)




now i feel like investing on a NEX7 as my main body for video shooting jobs(since has mic input) and 5R as 2nd camera

Im using 8gb Class 4 Lexar SD card on my 5R.....I can record video no problem

i dun think getting faster card speed is any much use...

Zzzzz, GSS G3 screen protector does not work for Nex 5R

at the end have to buy those stick on Screen protector which i kind of hate it, prefer clip on

or wait for GSS to release 5N/R versions

I believe Mirrorless is the new future trend setter

I have Nikon DSLR, i still use it for portraiture work, but when i hav no work, it stays at home.

and for videos I was prev shooting video works on DSLR(canon/nikon) and now im switching to NEX Camera, since they also provide the same quality as DSLR but in a small package.

planning to get Nex7 later cuz it has microphone input which other NEX does not have....or maybe wait for NEX 7 Update, im pretty dissapointed NEX6 does not have a Mic Input
