Excellent pano shots! Especially the 2nd image! Encapsulates the vastness of the grounds and the cathedral by having human as a size reference.

Nice!  I shall go SINGAPORE one day, since Singapore is cross over a bridge for me only. haha! one day after I get my fish eye, haha! and learn more.

I didn't have any tripod with me that time also. Handheld as well.

I'm planning to buy a NEX-5N for my coming trip on early Oct.

I've checked around and I found that the price for single lens(NEX-5NK) is around RM2150-2200 with the usual freebies(SD card, bag etc.)

I also understand there's a new NEX-F5 coming next month?

Is it a bad idea to buy it now? Do you guys think there'll be a significant price drop( >RM200? ) for the NEX-5N once the new NEX is announced?

also 16mm lens

I'm gonna sell my 16mm, it might be a good lens only doesn't suit me, Im gonna replacing my camera cap to 19mm, my 16mm still in very mint condition, I think shutter count with this lens <1000 as my nex sc only 2200, and most of my time I shoot with my 50mm and 85mm.

My sample photo, instead of soft edge another reason to sell it is too wide for shooting in street, hehe. Just offer me a price if it's ok I will just sell it.

hi bro Ah Hao, yeah it's irritated and catch the attention, problem of the 16mm lens, way too wide hard to crop while shooting, haha excuses.

Did you use any filter? (just notice you mention you not using any filter) or possible your 16mm defective? It is kind of strong vignette in your photo.

I try snap using f/8 as well, it is not that bad vignette.

if really wan to go for zeiss... might as well go for SAL rather than SEL...

Better focus on learning how to take a better photo with the gears in hand.
Skills does matter!
I'm still early stage in learning photo shooting, the more I shoot, the more i need to learn!

btw, i'm the one mostly not editing my photo. too lazy to learn photoshop.
i only shoot jpg, and use the crop and resize only when needed.
Try to train myself to shoot like using film camera, avoid PP.

That's why if one win a competition doesn't mean he is good, just mean the judges like his photos.

Bro maybe your photo is slightly under-expose ? But this kind of competition is very subjective, you doesn't win any prize doesn't mean you're a loser, so happy shooting and f*** the competition lol !
