.. use cotton bud .. i always use cotton bud if my blower cant remove the dust .. u need extra careful ..

Dust will always get into sensor, you just need to just the blower to blow it occasionally.

The reason why dust is so visible in this shot it with f13 which has a massive depth of field equivalent to 20 in full frame.

For NEX system, you get the peak sharpness at f5.6 and try not to go over f5.6 unless you are trying to do starburst. So if you shoot the above pic with f5.6, not only the dust is not visible, but your picture will be a lot sharper.

Cotton bud at your own risk and probably depends on what brands.. as this may leave even MORE tiny strands of follicles on the sensor. It won't destroy the sensor as you are wiping the low pass filter only. The sensor is behind this filter. I've seen in foreign forums claiming sensor wet wipes do a better job.

Send it back to Sony. If under warranty it's totally free and no need to bring any documentation because they check the serial numbers on the product. Easier to remove battery and memory card before you hand it over, otherwise they will and u have to take those back anyway. They bubble wrap your camera during transportation.

After warranty I think it is RM20 only. The long wait is probably the only pain u will have to endure. Then after that learn to be more selective where to swap lenses haha..

Whoever looking for 5N and F3, goto facebook and look for DY Divine. I just saw their promo up! RM1699 for the F3, RM2199 for the 5N!

According to Sony Service Centre at The Curve, cleaning service is free for units under warranty.
Includes body, lens or sensor. Only difference is the duration it will take.

Was at the service centre in The Curve to fix another camera, and when I asked one of the senior attendant, she said that it will be FOC as long as the camera is still under warranty.

Maybe you could ask directly at The Curve, since you would need to send it there as well for the cleaning service. Opens daily from 10am till 10pm, thus, very convenient.. 
There's another service centre in KLCC as well.

U just need adaptor to fit most of the branded lens, price from few hundred to thousand, LA-EA2 auto focus is fast but Somesaid its translucent mirror will reduce pict quality

the focus ring is on the lens right? your adapter have aperture blade?
if yes, set it wide open first... then on the focus peaking feature...

can you try using the MD-NEX and the 50mm 1.7 lens without the extension tube?
would it be clear if it's without the tube? if it's clear, might want to research more about using extension tubes with that particular lens... may not be compatible..

When you put an extension tube on, you lose infinity focus. The only things you can focus on, are close to your lens. Try holding a finger in front of the lens (with adapter and extension tube) and bring it slowly closer to you - you should see it slowly getting into focus!
