QUOTE(loon1983 @ Aug 30 2012, 06:58 PM) then i should say bye bye to nex 6 n choose 5r. Don't forget nex 6 got the pop up flash, which is so much more convenient...i need 188 flip screen more than the viewfinder n hotshoe... A question: nex 7 can set to use viewfinder only ? means the screen will not response, in order to have better battery life... |

QUOTE(V-Zero @ Sep 3 2012, 02:27 PM) There comes. Sony 10-18 f/4 OSS: available in November 2012 for $850. Hmmm 1.5k for the 35mm, the IQ gotta make up for it. Was expecting price of 1k like the 50mm. Source: http://www.sonyalpharumors.com/sr5-full-li...spetember-12th/ out of budget maybe due to my budget (Rm2000) are way too low hope the review will be good, so i can consider seriously This post has been edited by Ah hao: Sep 4 2012, 11:53 AM |

QUOTE(d4rkholeang3l @ Sep 8 2012, 08:20 AM) hi guys, wanna ask you guys about this issue.. i am using MD-E-mount for a long time, no problem at all, but i don know about A-E have anyone of you used a third party A-mount to E-mount adapter with aperture select? i got mine ytd, used it with my 85mm (manual lens) on NEX. With the help of peaking mode, I could focus correctly, but not focus sharply... hmmm.. any help? i am new in NEX scene..hahaha thanks! |

QUOTE(ChinWY @ Sep 8 2012, 09:29 PM) I have several mounts and no issues with them - if you are referring to manual focusing. The way I see it, you have to do some test to confirm your issue. u reply the wrong person 1. You lens is 85mm and that is about 135mm in 35mm format. You need a reasonably fast shutter speed. At leat 1/150. Examine your blur image Meta file. Unless you have rock solid hands and good experience in holding a camera steady, chances are you are suffering from camera shake. Remember there is no image stabilization in this setup. BTW, the old school standard is 1 sec hand held on 50mm lens. 2. Peaking mode. Yes it is suppose to be sharp, but depth of field will take a beating for longer lens and wide aperture. Assuming you have no issues with (1) then try setting the mode from high to medium or low. This will narrow down the area you want and not flood the image with a mess of peek lines. You get to see the target area better. In macro photography, we normally set it to medium or low due to the very low depth of field.. it can go less than a mm! under high magnification. Also if your camera is 5n (sorry i have no experience with other models), you can hit the focus magnification. That will give you another x4 on the screen. That will give you a good idea if thing are in our out. Lastly. It is not a contributing factor if your lens to sensor distance is wrong. A sharp lens will give good pictures if it is in focus - otherwise macro lens will not work!!. The only issue you will have is you cannot get things in focus when the focusing is set to infinity. I have a Schneider Radionar 80mm lens on my NEX. There is no off the shelf adapter for it and I have to make my own brew using focusing tubes combination. With that setup, I can get it to focus down to infinity. Hope I have answered some of your worries. QUOTE(mls_gamer @ Sep 8 2012, 05:52 PM) last time just randomly buy from ebay |

i think its not a good combination because i guess it will be too costly for the majority(at least RM6k?), and may doesn't fit the bill for enthusiastic ( their craze for retro look camera and where is the viewfinder?)

QUOTE(lwliam @ Sep 10 2012, 01:55 AM) I can safely predict pricetag to be less than 5k. The Fuji was 4k range and they're known to hv sky high prices. Sensor fabrication unlike 5 years back, have reduced in production cost by a very big margin. Full frame sensors aren't as expensive to make now. The deciding factor is the lens. 35mm lenses are not known to be cheap. We'll see how the rumour turns out. Oh btw, I'm not picking a fight here ah hao, haha, jz using back your words of wtf. no offence taken the reason i guess the price will be sky high due to full frame + cz lens, either one of them are already super expensive to majority just saw from internet the rumours price will be USD 2799 but its alright, not for me anyway, still waiting for 1018mm lens review This post has been edited by Ah hao: Sep 10 2012, 10:33 AM |
