still keeping with my d90.. now hand a bit itchy to get d7000 aldy.. haih..

bigger sensor and more AF point.. thats the only advantage..

other than that i dont see any major different..

p/s:- not really interested in articulated LCD, so dont recommend me to get d5100.. not interested at all

Need advice.

Was thinking of getting a used 12-24 or tokina new 11-16 which price range around rm2k. Instead of getting the lens for my d7000, do u think I should instead get a j1 with 10mm or 10-30mm? Need wide lens mainly for indoor shoot. Am no expert is smaller sensor etc but just need to know if I take with a j1 with 10mm lens against above lens, would the out turn of size(not mentioning the quality etc) after develop the picture would b the same, 4r or 8r ?

im in dilemma, with 9k budget 

1. new nikon 70-200 vr2 pair with my sigma 18-50mm f2.8 (if got budget later then can sell sigma & buy new 17-55)

2. new 17-55 + new 80-200 & sell my sigma

3. new 17-55 + 2nd 70-200 vr1 & sell my sigma

4. 2nd 70-200 vr1 & pair with my sigma

5. 2nd 70-200 vr1 + 2nd 17-55 & sell my sigma

Hello gens and ladies, a quick question if I may considering this is the Nikon thread?
I'm thinking of having my d700 service and clean because I can see dusts when I'm looking through the viewfinder. Do you think it's easily cleanable by the service centre?

Got the camera last year so it's within the 1 year warranty period. The thing is I'm probably going to be around Malaysia for 1 week+, what turnaround time do you guys reckon?

There is this comment by a professional photographer who currently trying out to work with his D800. He commented that the sharpness, pixel density and ability to use both card format are great, however the downside is that the ISO performance is lower than his D700. He even added that only ISO up to 1250 acceptable by his standard for the D800.

From who? I mean d photographer...
Luckily d ISO is not up to D700...
Den I got 2 reason not to go for D800 adi...

the D800 is really tickling my hands now

and reviews shows that the iso performance is almost on par with the D700. which makes it great considering it has got 36MP

well, to me it is kinda like a minor upgrade from my D3s (just me ya..just me). but the D800 is really yummehhh just that one needs to upgrade CF cards and HDD as well
