Any mp3 player Below RM300 can give the best sound quality at its price point? LCD navigation is preferable.
Will be using it with Dunu Tridents and MS1i.

QUOTE(jehutyz @ Jan 22 2013, 03:23 PM) Didn't have C3 but just got my Nova N1. Pair with FAD Adagio II. Well I have nothing to compare as previously using iPhone as music player. Not yet try in details yet. I not yet update the firmware, for now this firmware does give me some problem. Build quality wise, overall I have no complain with it. metal finishing and light. The UI is easy to use. Hiss sound quite low too. For the price, I think is good enough. Alright thanks for your opinion

QUOTE(LWRNCH6550 @ Jan 24 2013, 10:45 AM) aww, that sucks. coz i used to own some old mp3 player that uses single AAA. I get to change the batteries whenever its low on the go without worry about recharging. Well looks like i have to jump in the current built-in battery wagon then. I have one of those xD Creative Nomad MuVo sadly the battery port already corroded so cant use T.T

QUOTE(power911 @ May 7 2013, 10:52 PM) Had the Hippo Gumstick... starting to die... I got RM200 on hands... what player would be the best to replace the Gumstick other than Cube C30? say... my requirements are -able to play wav, flac and ape -easy to read screen/interface -expandable memory -small or thin -long lasting battery(not necessary) I've seen Sansa Clip+ and Sansa Fuze... not sure if it's a wise choice to change there go get the cube c30 hahaha or save up another RM100+ and try to get the colorfly c3 from taobao

QUOTE(power911 @ May 8 2013, 12:19 AM) dang.... C3 looking sexy~ (a lil thick though) mm I shall put that into my consideration thanks yeah its a sexy beast indeed! I would also recommend the Hisound Nova N1, retail in malaysia is RM460 from what I last saw but from i've read its ridden with bugs. Can get from taobao for around RM350 also.

QUOTE(power911 @ May 8 2013, 12:44 AM) lol I just realized C3 doesn't come with earphones Mann Hisound Nova N1 looked more like a player to me dang.... free earbuds too huuhuu Imma stick to C3 as my first choice then... which would sound better?(as in less noise on sensitive iem) N1 had a screen to display album art though Sound wise I think theyre almost the same N1 has bassier signature while C3 has cleaner sound. Nova N1 comes with PAA-1 Pro which is a very well received stock earbuds.

Guys any good portable budget amp-dap combos? Only one I know would be Colorfly C3 with the C&C BH. Any others within that price range? Currently using a sansa clip, will be using it for CIEM in the future. Also anyone here has a C3 I could try?

QUOTE(liquidgal @ Jun 3 2014, 08:00 AM) Don't have a C3 for you to audition but I tried it before. So probably can share you some opinions. C3 is a very clean sound DAP, details not bad and build in amp is a bit weak. The bigger problem would be the UI, it's a bit lag. At this price range, it's still quite decent for the SQ. And one more thing, it doesn't have line out so I don't encourage adding an amp to it. It will be double amping. If you do like clean sound and your hand phone can support OTG, can up your budget a bit and consider Fiio E17. It's also more to DAC. To me, it's around the same range with fiio x3 but different sound signature. yeah but a lot of people have very good experience with it double amping with the C&C BH, a lot of them prefer it over the fiio x3. I don't want to use my handphone for battery reasons, I use my phone a lot so prefer something else to play my music. I'll probably try the Fiio x3, but are there other options?
