Hai all.

Want to share my experience buying fake Bose OE Headphone at Low Yat Plaza.
The shop say the headphone is original.
Cheaper price as the headphone is 'underwater' (tax free)

At first i really hesitated to buy.
Then i decide to buy it after the RM250 cheap price offered by the shop.
After several time listening to the music using the headphone,i am not satisfied with the sound quality.

At first i donno there is authorize Bose dealer in KL.
I got several friend having this Bose OE headphone, but all of them bought it from overseas.
I 'googled' and found authorize Bose dealer Malaysia.
I visit Atlas hifi in Sunway. I bring the headphone,compare it with the original.
The sound quality is so FAR different. But the built quality is almost 95% same.
After some checking and comparing by the Atlas hifi person, they confirmed my headphone is FAKE.

I call the low yat shop.
They said 'sy punya supplier cakap ini barang original ma. diorang cakap original, so sy pn cakap original laaa. apa bole sy buat? Barang tak boleh refund, u dtg kedai tuka barang lain laa..' bla bla bla bla bla (i think i had cursed them, but i dont remember as i was really2 mad)

I was really really disappointed! With no hesitation, i bought the genuine Bose OE from the Atlas hifi! (RM680)
Yes, the price is a bit expensive. But i really satisfied with the sound quality come with 1 year warranty, free service and one-to-one replacement if there is any manufacturer defect.

Now i am very happy. Thanks to the very 'WOW' sound quality engineered by Bose. Everytime when i travel, this headphone is always with me.
I am thinking to upgrade to Noise Cancelling Bose headphone in the future but the price is more more expensive

To all my music lovers out there, beware of FAKE product, with the technology now, people can almost imitate everything!
Sometime it is better to spend more for better quality and satisfaction.

I hope this post is useful for all of u out there. Sorry with my bad english.

BTW i am not here to blame all the shop in Low Yat Plaza. Just aware of some that sell fake product.

how can someone mistaken a fake RM250 product for a genuine rm860 product??!
of course the sound quality is different, the price is more than 300% different!

It is like buying a Myvi and complain it is a fake Camry.

You get what you pay for.
so stop complaining.

People easily get scam buyingg those fake Beats..

I bought the fake Beats for my nephew.
I told him it is fake, he doesnt mind.

I pay fake price for a fake beat,
that, my learned fren, is not scam.

scam is when you pay full price for a fake product, geddit?

If there is an underwater camry in the first place.
even if there is, it is call tax evading and contraband.
you could go to jail for it.

headphones duty free,
only has 10% sales tax for resellers.

you are comparing orange to durians.

for RM250, you can get something better...

normal people like me donno about the tax,% sales tax,duty bla bla bla.
only resellers like u knows.
BTW tax evading for car maybe impossible.
it is 1500kg item vs 0.200kg item.
orange and durians, myvi and camry.wow.very nice.
i never heard car seller convince their costumer that the myvi is really2 a camry.
your comparison is out of topic.

Hi, Can I ask if Bose is a tightly controlled distribution and can only
buy from Atlas? Otherwise how can Atlas charge rm600 for ipod
dock when it cost only usd99 on Amazon. Amazon and other
online sellers will not ship out of USA right? There is a new accessory
for the Bose wave called wave control pod costing usd40 but
Atlas staff don't even know it exsist. Anyone know where I can get it?

At the the distribution level, the fake Bose is only RM40 each.

Why TS never test the fake Bose when he bought it. If you had tested it, then you should be able to tell it is a fake one and wouldn't have bought it.
