So any recommendation for mods review blog? I only found one so far and it's owned by japanese, thus written in japanese, but there are enough screenshots in a post to caught my interest. Most post are review about mods posted on nexus also so there is no problem on that one.

Of course you can just browse through nexusmods, but it's hard to browse through all new files with low endorsement to actually find something noteworthy

Did you already tried to uninstall and then reinstall NMM? And remove the setting when uninstall

Skyrim 1.5 beta is released, anybody tried it yet? Not gonna update mine since many of mods that I use would like break because of script dragon dependency

Hmm..I don't really use vanilla spells, but I think that's because that spell has knockdown properties? The standard solution would be increasing your frost resistance.

Using maximum possible numbers of mods now(255 esp/esm), and most of them aren't graphic stuff, but more toward gameplay. My recommendation :

1. DFB random encounters (I'd recommend wars in skyrim,but since the authors pulled down the file after being trolled, this is good enough)

What this mod do? You can customize the numbers of enemy spawn up to 100 for each type of creature. Even 100 of dragons, but that's pushing it. Trust me you'll like it because vanilla skyrim is way toooooooooooo empty


2. Categorized favourite menu

Improve the favourite menu screen, which is too simple and unorganized, you'll definitely need this if you're playing as a mage/stealth character

3 Mighty Magick Skyrim

Since spell's magnitude doesn't scale with your skills in skyrim, this mod is a must for mage because at higher level, even with 0 cost spell, you'll be hard pressed to defeat any enemies with you weak spells

4. Extensible followers framework

You'll definitely need this if you use DFB random encounters, beside it's always good to have backup mule to carry your burden


5. Unofficial Skyrim Patch

Oh, now that I've remembered, it got something to do with the recent 1.5.26 update, because how Bethesda changed navmesh or something like that, many mods that edited location or add new area become unusable because the update introduce new bugs to the previously stable mods, some mods like Better village also got this issue. That's why I converted some of esp files to esm just so that it is usable at the moment, not going to recommend doing it though.

Oh well, might as well post a few mods review everyday to keep this thread rolling. Also, there is a high change we'll get Arena DLC in the future. The reason? There is actually a worldspace created for arena in windhelm, you can even check with in game console by typing "help arena" and you'll get some data regarding that. It is most likely wasn't included because of the release deadline, but now with the game being more stable after recent patch, the dev might be continuing adding the arena to the game

...usually load order does matter, and in this case, water and skymomod have no conflict at all, eh how bout deactivate skymomod and skymomod_list for now and see if water worked

Oh right, just use BOSS, make thing much more easier, just extract and place it in your skyrim file and then run the boss gui.exe. Also skse won't break anything, so it's not the one causing this

Anybody feel civil war questline feel kinda boring? Want to have you own army conquering the holds instead of siding with either imperials or stormcloak

Skyrim is the engine that my concept was designed for, and I am quite pleased with the amount of progress I am making. Many key components are implemented, and very quickly progress is being made. The existing Civil War framework has provided a frameword to examine, but in the long run, it is far too convulted and confusing, and I have recoded several systems- and several new ones- that fit my concept better.

Here is a basic list of features that the mod either currently contains or will contain:

1. Expandable Blades- The player can appoint several additional companions to the Blades. These Blades will act as personal bodyguards for several aspects, guard the player's court, and

3. A dynamic campaign system- the player is the leader of the Dragonborn Rebellion, and answers to no man. You are the one who decides where and when to attack (with limits). Once the fort falls, the player must then assault the Hold Capital.

4. Fully dynamic appointment system- the player is not limited to the existing Jarls. Should you wish it, any of your companions can be selected to fill the roles of Jarl within the 9 holds (minus 1- you DO need a court, after all). This is just one of several appointable positons, the other most prominent being the Housecarl, your second-in-command. They are the Legate Rikke or Galmar Stone-Fist to you. While you make orders, they are the one who rally the soldiers, dispatch the garrisons, etc. They can be any companion (not limited to the Housecarls like Lydia).

Of course, should you like one of the existing Jarls, you are free to leave them in their posts. This makes very interesting moments when you return Balgruuf to his rightful post, you Stormcloak traitors.

Don't think so, because the world is revolving on the dragonborn anyway, like how everything level-up as you do, and shop, no matter how established, only sell basic item when you're a noob tongue.gif

Don't really think so, the most you can get is new weapon type, that is crossbow for future DLC, which the data already included in the latest update. But usually, for popular and big mods, they're done more professionally and have their own uninstallation procedure, like deadly dragons and Extensible follower framework
