Dragon Soul 10 - 8/8 Normal, 6/8 Heroic (pre-nerf H Morchok, H Yor'sajh, H Zon'ozz, H Ultraxion, post-nerf H Hagara, H Warmaster)

On the raiding front, we are currently running a single 10 man team, and have cleared 6/8 HM in Dragon Soul 10. We are making good and steady progress in DS heroic, and are looking for a few more raiders to bolster our existing line-up as we work on clearing the remaining HMs (hopefully before D3 hits ) Please visit our website for the latest on our recruitment needs. But even if your spec/class is not listed, feel free to drop an application as we bring the player and not the class, and welcome all exceptional and skilled applicants.

In addition, for a limited time only, we are opening invites to casuals and non-raiders from MY/SG and other GMT +8ers who are planning to remain in the game for the medium to long term, and are looking for a new home. It is the intention of the guild leadership in Desire to continue raiding into the next expansion, and we are therefore looking to growing and strengthening the community within the guild between now and Mists of Pandaria.

Current recruitment priorities

(1) Raiding team

Tanks
1x tank a strong offspec. Preference is for a non-DK, but we are willing to accept any exceptional players.

Healers
1x healer. We prefer a priest but are willing to accept any exceptional players.

Melee DPS
1 x Rogue - must be able to out-dps our current melee players, as we plan on bringing you in for most if not all fights for the legendary quest item. preference for a player who is already well-advanced into the legendary quest, but willing to consider all exceptional candidates

(2) Casuals, non-raiding, social members
Open to all friendly folks who just want to find a new home and get to know some new kakis

What we offer
*Guild bank repairs for all raiders
*Flasks & food for progression fights
*Friendship. We are a tight-knit group of friends who are trying to experience as much end game as possible, without sacrificing our real life commitments.
* Commitment to getting as much raiding done with our 9 hours a week. We don't raid as much as most of the other guilds out there but we do get a lot of our progression kills done in a timely manner.

What we expect from you
1) Although we will almost always provide consumables, you should have your own on you at all times. **This includes potions as all of our raiders do things such as pre-pot and pot in battles. We believe that every little extra bit from all our raiders is the difference between a dead boss and a dead raid.**

2) Maintain a minimum of 75-80% raid attendance.

3) You must be using Mumble (voice-chat client alternative to Vent), DBM and Omen. These are non-negotiable.

4) Willingness to accept criticism and have an attitude of self-improvement.

5) No drama queens/kings

6) Owner of a stable connection.

7) You are representing our guild while you are under trial. Act appropriately to outsiders and don't be a douche bag in general.

8) Have good time management. Don't come late to raids or let us know in advance if you can't make it. We understand RL takes precedent over WoW. All we ask is that you let us know as early as you possibly can if you cannot make it.

Raid Schedule
All times are GMT+8 (Singaporean/Hong Kong/Perth)

8:45pm (invites start) to 12am (last attempt) (11:45 - 3am Server Time)

Wednesdays, Thursdays and Mondays

Depending on player availability, we also run optional alt/relaxing raids on weekends on Friday, Saturday and Sunday,

Loot Rules
We run EPGP and as with most of the guilds, trials are allowed to take loot as long as no raiders need said item. For a more detailed explanation of our loot system, feel free to swing by our website.

If you are a person who wants to raid in a high-end environment but don't have the time to raid 20+ hours a week, this is the place for you. We offer good progression for the amount of hours you put in and we always expect the best from each other. hey there, and thanks for your interest in our guild! truth-be-told, we aren't looking specifically for casters atm, but you look pretty well-geared and could fit in with where we are atm, so what i'll suggest is if u are keen on a raiding spot, do get urself a log we can look at and we can take it further from there. feel free to chat in-game with myself (Hachirei) or the range raid leader (Miniamren) for further details.

ps. we've just downed H Hagara for 5/8 HM

belated bump for H Warmaster kill as of the previous raid week, 6/8 HM now and looking forward to some decent attempts on H Spine this coming Monday!
