moral of story, no matter how many assurance you get from the SA, he say trust him etc etc. all BS ler. Book of excuses come out, kenot fight anymore.

Feel dulan, maybe should just cancel order with him teach these ppl a lesson. DRB-Hicom first move must send SAs for Integrity Training classes.

Hai guys

My car arrived yesterday biggrin.gif

user posted image

Was dirty to heck, so sent for wash and polish on the same day itself. SA offered wash and polish but was worried it might come back with swirl marks so did sent it to my usual spot.

Very happy with the car, although the engine sounds a bit "rough". Normal for new car?

Congrats!!! U gonna love the car

QUOTE(selinix @ Jan 21 2012, 01:00 PM)
I really dislike the engine sound.. I try to convince myself the rough sound is garang till I drove the TSI.. that's what I call garang..
*
Yar, really syiok to drive this car. Reminds me of my mivec waja days.

Guess engine noise will be something I'll get used to.

btw thanks to bro Kenny for recommendation regarding remapping. I'll follow your advice to run the car stock first then remap later have better gauge on improvement

what u mean by got no alarm?

U must be thinking the same like me b4, actually there is immobiliser and alarm in our car..

if u wanna try the alarm, get inside the car, arm the alarm and wait for 10 sec. u can hear the beeping sound, after it gone try to open the door from inside smile.gif

( if urs got no alarm then go complain..hehehhehe )

and yah, if you go and fitting any extra alarm it could void ur warranty since it includes car wiring..

It's up to you...

Noted. Thanks for the clarification. smile.gif

Been meaning to ask for some advice regarding this:

My car came with this defect, SA said can settle, but just curious what will they do (replace new bumper/push in), and how long it'll take.

Get it checked soonest possible... not good for bumper to hang like that for long..... later senget...  brows.gif  brows.gif

Also, i think someone had bumped into the bumper and caused the clip to rosak or go missing.... i seriously doubt Proton factory will release the car with that defect....
*
Noted. Will get it done ASAP then. Means sometime before receiving my car bumper kena bumped...damn. Haiz...

QUOTE(jnick @ Jan 25 2012, 03:01 PM)
Where u stay? I did this at one of te work shop at Kota damansara for my city.

If wan best result. Will remove whole bumper and pull back the metal only put and clip back the bumper smile.gif
Thanks jnick, lemme see what SA says tomolo and I'll get back to you.

On the note of workshops, I'm at 600km and need recommendation for Service Centers for first service.

My locations are Kampung Tungku/PJ and Kota Kemuning.

Thanks to all the bros here for the tips thus far.

While we're in the topic of Syn 1000 and 800, dare I ask the recommendations again regarding which to use for what type of driving?

All i kno is Syn 1000 = 10,000km
800 = 5,000km?

Wrong ka? or any other extra features?

Morning All, thinking of using FT holiday to go CoE for 1000km service.

Need advice tho:
1. Rattling sound coming from left passenger side when going through bumpy roads. Can't pinpoint it, but sounds like coming from inside seat belt area, or inside door itself. Sound familiar to anyone?

2. Remember my pic of the bumper defect? Will CoE handle for me during my service, or must let SA handle it?

Thanks guys
