Same thing here.I didn't receive any SMS for an online transaction on Jan 6th for RM650. Called up CS and was informed the default threshold is RM500 but the person I spoke with didn't have an explanation as to why I didn't receive an SMS alert.
Anyway, I requested the threshold be lowered to the minimum amount allowed by Public Bank and so far, so good. All physical card swipes above RM100 trigger an alert immediately (within 5-10 secs). Haven't tried online transactions yet.
