Hey - for the BNM ruling on banks to comply with SMS alerts for every CC transaction, just recently - this bank did not allow me to put RM10 as minimum trigger for SMS alert. I was shocked because I thought it should be any amount at customer's discretion, but the CS told me it is their bank's internal policy to have minimum of RM1,000 so she asked me to make a choice.

BNM's policy did not specify that they allow the bank to decide on the amount. Even a RM10 cc transaction is a transaction.

Quite unhappy - I have 2 cc with other banks and so far they have allowed me to set at whatever amount I choose. Suddenly I face road-block with this bank...
