I have a Toshiba 7kg top loading washing (paid RM799) for 5 years.

I called Toshiba 6 times after warranty expired. Every time I call for repair, it will cost minimum of RM50 + parts.


I wash soft dresses and sometimes jeans, etc.
Which reliable washing machine should I be looking for? I heard of very expensive brand models giving problems! Which models do you know personally to be dependable so far?
My favourite places to shop is at Jusco or at Harvey Norman.

I prefer panasonic, the 8-9kg model is about RM 900 and very reliable.
I used it for blanket and bed sheet.

Bought it from sen heng with extended warranty.

I think the price is more or less the same.
