Hi, just wondering whether ATV has good integration with PLEX? Has anyone tried this? I have my media collection hosted on NAS running PLEX. Tried play media via Chromecast, but the 1080p playback is really struggling. With the recent price reduction for ATV, this option seems attractive, but yet to find any evidence.

Have you change your location to the states and sign in with a U.S. iTunes account ?

Direct purchase.
All they need is your credit card number. For address, put a relative address from the states.
You may need a VPN though if you're viewing from Malaysia.
VPN unlimited use to have a RM 50 for 3 years VPN service but netflix on appleTV only work via airplay for that.

Hey guys, I have seen so many Apple TVs going for sale in the Resellers here in PJ but what can we actually use one for? AFAIK, we cannot view Netflix or Hulu in Malaysia, so what other streaming TV services can we get then? hmm.gif

I was thinking of getting one, even if the Samsung TV in my condo is a "Smart TV" with full Internet capabilities! rclxms.gif

AirPlay from your iPhone/iPad/Mac.
Hulu and Netflix is possible if you're willing to use vpn or opendns.

There is crunchyroll and a few news channels as well.

Atv2 is not available outright. You may be able to find it from eBay or other sellers at crazy prices. Much sought after now due to jailbreak.

I'm thinking of selling my atv2. Hardly watch Xbmc nowadays. Mostly use for Netflix only. Thinking of upgrading to atv3 for 1080p instead.

Should I?
