It will only matters if you look at benchmark, otherwise in real world application, you probably won't notice the difference. by "slight upgrade", I mean the difference between OMAP4460 and OMAP4470 isn't that significant yet, even if its an improvement, compare to say a jump from Exynos 4210 to Exynos 4412. OMAP 4470 is still the same 45nm technology, its still dual core, and its still Cortex A9. I'd say its a significant enough upgrade if its OMAP5 instead.
