QUOTE(RedSox2004 @ May 25 2012, 09:02 AM) Guys, Anyone had problem with AMT accumulator before? Mine cant engage the gear to auto and can only use manual for the time-being. Sent to workshop they said it is a pressure leak from accumulator, might have to change it for 1k ! Anyone had similar problem before? Had that problem last week. My 2006 AMT would change from auto to manual while I was driving, and then it would get stuck on one gear and won't let me change till I stop, turn off the engine, and start up again. I took it to the authorized Proton Service Center nearby and they replaced the accumulator for RM 1.2k. After I got it back, I drove for less then 4 days, and the same thing started to happen. took it back to the workshop and they said it was the motor so... it's been at the workshop since Wednesday. I think that after I get it back I will go car shopping.

QUOTE(etking @ May 26 2012, 01:13 PM) I have the same problem too for my AMT 2008 savvy but i got the extended warranty for clutch and engine, not sure can claim it or not, anyone have any idea?? try calling a PSC & see? good luck bro. The PSC said the electropump will cost 2k+ to replace... I dunno if I even want to go through with that, knowing there's still one more part of the AMT assembly left to break after that I'm thinking I just wanna junk it and go car shopping today Anybody wanna try to talk me out of it? QUOTE(thenightcrusader @ May 29 2012, 05:31 PM) i also got the same problem. the stupid proton service center (Mutiara Damansara) gave me the following quote: 1. Speed Sensor RM193.22 2. Pedal Assy Brake RM92.77 3. Electro Pump RM2006.05 4. Cylinder clutch RM3095.73 5. Modulate Actuator RM9674.72 6. Clutch Kit RM692.08 7. Accumulator + Gasket RM1217.28 Total: RM16971.85 heard that RS Auto in Puchong is a good place to repair savvy. Anyone been there? what's yr review? Hey at least they broke it down for you and told you all the separate piece costs. the PSC that I am going to in Serdang Raya tells me the price only when they are telling me they need to replace it. ...fwiw the price for the electropump and accumulator/gasket are consistent with what I was told. Did anyone else replace accumulator and electropump, and how long does your AMT last after that? I want to make sure it can at least get me to the Suzuki showroom XD
