Had that problem last week. My 2006 AMT would change from auto to manual while I was driving, and then it would get stuck on one gear and won't let me change till I stop, turn off the engine, and start up again. I took it to the authorized Proton Service Center nearby and they replaced the accumulator for RM 1.2k.

After I got it back, I drove for less then 4 days, and the same thing started to happen. took it back to the workshop and they said it was the motor so... it's been at the workshop since Wednesday.

I think that after I get it back I will go car shopping.

try calling a PSC & see? good luck bro.

The PSC said the electropump will cost 2k+ to replace... I dunno if I even want to go through with that, knowing there's still one more part of the AMT assembly left to break after that

I'm thinking I just wanna junk it and go car shopping today Anybody wanna try to talk me out of it?

Hey at least they broke it down for you and told you all the separate piece costs. the PSC that I am going to in Serdang Raya tells me the price only when they are telling me they need to replace it.

...fwiw the price for the electropump and accumulator/gasket are consistent with what I was told.

Did anyone else replace accumulator and electropump, and how long does your AMT last after that? I want to make sure it can at least get me to the Suzuki showroom XD
