mine does not auto lock.  i went outside car (engine off and no key inserted), make sure all doors closed, waited for 5 minutes, it did not lock.  does this mean its faulty?
*
No. The auto arm only works when after you unlock via remote and didn't open any of the doors, 30 seconds it will automatically re-arm.

If you open a door after dis-arming, or you switch off engine and got out of the car, it will not re-arm automatically.

That means, to test, do the following:

arm the alarm via remote.
now disarm the alarm via remote.
Wait 30 secs, it will re-arm.

No problem. I hope it works, that's how my Saga's alarm work anyway.

Thank you for your reply. If ignition coil and power steering problem, is there any aftermarket upgrades we can inherit, so we'll have less trouble? According to your statement, aging should mean wear and tear. My driving style is exactly like those moron like to hog the road, does it mean my ignition coil will last longer?

Thank you again and again. I really start liking the car ALREADY even before I buy it. Just these well known issue bothering me, as a result I wouldn't dare to buy it just yet. Any more assistant would be much appreciated. notworthy.gif

Saga Hatchback to be exact nod.gif The otherday I went for test drive, the owner was bringing me out to some place so I can fully try out the car. Along the way, he explained the car is SOOOOOOO DAYME POWDERFUL and the superduper geng cao AMT aka SELESPEED aka Super Touring Car Sequencial GB aka Porsche TipTronic on a shiftstick shocking.gif whilst he was bragging how powderful the car is, suddenly hear clutch spin sound, engine revving speed climbing then the car slowly roll to the roadside. He off engine, trying very hard fiddling his stick up-down-up-down the car just wouldn't move hmm.gif he said small matter, explained something like shuttle fuel doesn't match with the titanium medium, ignition spark couldn't fire up and thruster lose power as a result the space shuttle couldn't teleport anymore... all sorta jargon that I never heard before to confuse me shakehead.gif I quickly get out of the car and ran to the nearest taxi stand. The seller ditch his car and came to me wanted to further poison me to buy his AMT saying he will rectify the "MINOR" issue, once gao dim he will call me, ask me NOT TO WORRY! Price STILL can negotiate UNTIL LET GO! doh.gif

Seriusly, if he not so desperate to sell, I wouldn't do so much research before I buy, probably wait until he rectified jor will buy from him ady sweat.gif Stay away from AMT sweat.gif
*
What for you go test drive AMT shakehead.gif problematic GB notwithstanding, I tot you are a stickshift nut hmm.gif

Thank you for the truthful and honest feedback. Now I have rough idea on what am I supposed to expect if I buy the car. 90% is taking it on. Just before I get on, may I have a final piece of advice from fellow masters here? The engine noise is the worst I had in my life, I've driven a 3 ton Perkasa, even that diesel engine wasn't as rough as this poor little red Savvy I tested. I just went and demand for another final inspection today, so here's the video. May be you guys can help me justify.

tat's pretty funny if someone would want to steal d rear center seat belt! hv u opened up d rear seats? it's flippable n maybe it's hidden underneath?

btw, bro davidke20, welcome to Savvy club! like u, i drive both Savvy and Saga BLM. gotta admit in stock form d Savvy's suspension is way better than Saga's, but after adding stuffs to my Saga's chassis, i can now say my Saga performs at least on par with stock Savvy on d R&H department. hehe.

if u're in Puchong area, we can have a TT n exchange ideas abt both cars!

btw, my MT Savvy Lite (my wife's actually) is still in stock form. i only add abit of soundproof as u knw la d engine is d roaring kind one.  biggrin.gif

Haha mine also havun pay finish la. 2 years more. lol. but the thing is that i can do early settlement for my car anytime but wasted if paying now... 3 years interest rate is still charged upfront. bank really making money. lol.

I'm staying in a condo atm.. shifting again on Feb/March to a studio most likely and again no parking lot also. Once my new ride comes i might need to temporary put my savvy under sun, rain and also tree SAP and bird shit. sad.gif sayang.. I do alot of hand polishing, waxing and washing.. berkilau kilau one. hahahhaa

Wakakaka my Gaga suffered the same fate after my new ride arrived, single condo parking also doh.gif

I got a few Ks rebate in interest for settlement tongue.gif still rugi like crazy coz only had the car for 11 months, resale value depreciated more than 20%. Luckily no need to top up after sold to direct buyer, got refund summore sweat.gif

Can't really compare that 2 cars. 1 is hothatch 3 doors, whilst Sabby is 5. Purpose alone differ 9 streets liao. So, you SHALL never regret of picking the NEO. Those who regretted on Sabby for NEO would be causing by they've bought an AMT and didn't join SAVOC to understand how to maintain/repair it icon_rolleyes.gif
Can go 1 step further? Sri Petaling got 1 huge ass kapak behind Al Ashad Maju next to The Store rclxms.gif
I got 2 extra Plotong badge, put it on your PoPi sleep.gif Come lar tew.

Sabby original is ZERO offset. Don't get cheated by the fender kembang. If you squat down and look, the body is exactly the same level with the wheel hub, and the rim is exactly flat as the body.
user posted image
user posted image

Once you change spork rim, negative offset, kena fender, positive offset kena wheelarch pulak. So, it's very tricky and must find the right sifu to check with your rim size.
