Where do you stay my friend. You need to stop sending Shawie to Plotong SC, presume your car already 5 years old warranty lapsed. Plotong SC know how on Shawie is very limited, parts and labor are generally marked up several folds from general market value, therefore their price is "SLIGHTLY" expansive. If you staying in KL, please proceed to Subang USJ look for Renautech. Klang/Shah Alam area, you may visit Osman Baba or RS Auto. Hypermount also recommended 1 from Melaka, another 1 from Penang but I can't remember where exactly. I hope next term I'll become TS so I can manage the info to help all new Shawie owners nod.gif

Oh really thanks for the info.. i stay in cheras and went to the nearest proton sc.
They quote me timing belt n labour 1k plus major service all 1.6k ..my jaw was like droped! shocking.gif

AMT but i switch to Manual bcos you have more control..if you drive on auto i experience delay in shifting and sometime is out of control lol ..n im enjoying the manual switching bcos u dont have to use clutch smile.gif (semi auto in a way) BUT FUEL SAVE!

Ok im using 50 percent highway and 50 percent city drive.. remember last week after work jam like F in kl due to flood?! the 2 day i was stuck in it .. and yet i went on to 380km+ before i refill .. and still RM49+ full tank..lol can go into 400km really.AMT try use the manual shift its fun icon_idea.gif

Maybe use Auto (D) will only reach 350km average cos the delay of shifting.

50K KM.. at 1st it does give me problem the jerking and stuff ..went to proton they claim to clean the sensor and reset sumthing..so the jerk gone.Charge me RM130+

Advised me to do major n timiing belt change at 80,000Km.(which i will go to RS)

The car was fine..all good but the only notable lack is Reverse..either it wont move or too much oil..hard to control Reverse..damn it

go to a savvy lighly knock on the door..go to a viva gently knock on the door..u will know what we talking about.
Savyy most important is RENAULt engine! you are driving a CONTI..i bought a AMT08 11K+ ..feel good with the car but you must use the manual mode in order to get control.or else if u put D is more of the car control u ;p
FC was excellent!

The only problem I encounter..
1) the vibration over the drawer
2) reverse control have to carefully execute (a known problem I heard)
3) the big steering which is sort of blocking the view if u are not 6 feet. There are no steering adj.thinking to change to smaller steering.

my version got no rear viper not sure can it be install? anyone can advice? thanks

do you really need a wiper at the back? driven 5 years and i think i have activated the wiper for less than 10 times
easier trick - use car polish it shiny shiny. dirt wont stick.
do it for all your windows and side mirror.

thanks for that only solution lol ..

I like to activate rear wiper whenever got rain..is fun dunno why hehe
this is why I always prefer hatchback car than sedan
