"They need to be able to converse and entertain passengers to keep them occupied, because we are going medium to long haul, and will need to keep passengers engaged."

Scoot's CEO Campbell Wilson, said: "They are constantly up and down the aisle, and they are constantly selling, because at the end of the day, our model is based on people purchasing services, over and above the very cheap seat that we are selling to begin with."

The typical starting salary for cabin crew working with a budget carrier is about S$2,200. And one difference with Scoot is that compared to most airlines, Scoot's cabin crew will be expected to share rooms during their transit stops.

The next two recruitment drives will take place in February and March.

No bladdy idiot will rent the whole HDB flat. You can easily rent a room for SGD600 if its near town or SGD300 and below if its in Jurong and farther.

And now, non-PR cannot purchase HDB anymore. You can only buy private property.

I stayed in hdb, when i shared 180 +180 = 360

I rent single room $380(5yrs ago) and it's not super small like in Hkg. Decent size + the family i was living with had a maid and she helped clean my room.

How much do you pay?

Anyway, HDB isn't that bad right? Kira quite big also. Nice, clean. Unlike Malaysian apartments.

To be honest man, I don't know how I'd survive as an engineer. Currently 3rd year but.. Studying and working are 2 different things. I've read backgrounds of a few engineers before and the projects that they were involved in, and I don't think I'm capable of all that laugh.gif

122 is not but you have hardly any expenses so your spending power should be 80-90% of your salary which is fantastic.

Was thinking of SG. Good pay plus can go bek KL every few weeks.

Plus I don't need to work weekends in the stinking heat or doing 8pm to 8am slots which I so loathe.
