Ur mid box is ori?my wira se use stock 421,midbox same as i use in pe,and s flow muffler..from 0 to 100 around 13sec..top speed is 180kmh lo.

make TT near my house la, but dun at night la

just replace d swirl bullet wif the midbox...
setup now is 4-2-1 > swirl bullet > s-flow...

obvious thing is extractor not tat noisy already but will hv d tin kosong sound when rev more than 2.8k which d sound is not as noisy as previously without bullet but d sound is quite irritating also...

performance wise...i duno mang...dis setup got something wrong?

replaced ori midbox...keeping d ori midbox just in case...
jz now quite rush so just install d bullet first...
s-flow is 5zigen...

without midbox memang takkan ada pick up or top speed, which explains vccy's previous setup without midbox very high FC.

depending on location, the midbox can be used wither to boost pick up or boost top speed.

stock midbox dont have steel wool/yellow wool, aftermarket one ada steel wool/yellow wool.
stock one if I am not mistaken, inside consist of a lot of thin metal partitions that does the job of silencing and push pick up/speed.

Same with stock S-flow muffler with aftermarket S-flow muffler. Stock muffler all no steel wool/yellow wool. All the sound is muffled via various thin metal partitions in the muffler box itself. Gen2 exhaust system has a very bad reputation of getting rusted easilly and one and notice there's quite a lot of "noisy" Gen2 but they are still using stock exhaust. This is due to the metal partitions in the S-flow box has all rusted and broken and hence the S-flow now has became straight flow.

most of d aftermarket midbox i saw in shop is not as long as stock midbox...
anyway...got no knowledge on d midbox

Adding a bullet helps to compress the air and add backpressure.. When u add back pressure u are maintaining the compression of the engine combustion, which is very important .. When u add back pressure u actually reduce a bit of pickup.. cos when u accelerate ur exhaust velocity becomes faster, but the bullet and s-flow is restricting the airflow a bit by compressing it.. Thats y removing a catcon can improve pickup and low end power..

But then backpressure is still needed.. Thats y auto gear cars need to have s-flow mufflers.. It helps maintain a certain amount of backpressure and exhaust velocity, therefore maintaining compression in the engine.. If u lose compression in ur engine u actually will damage the engine due to the engine burning either too rich or lean..

bosh brake pad RM90? which shop? last time i ask quatation from GTone their quoted me RM250+ for bosh brake pad. and 90 for "AMP" type?

Hmmm Since u say the wira ady 18yo.. I suggest doing other things first lah.. How much is the mileage?
First u need to decarbonise the engine. Run a decarboniser to remove all those soots..
Then its good time for u to do a minor top overhaul.. Just change piston rings and clean the engine head will do..
After that check for compression problems.. No matter how good ur exhaust is, if ur compression got problem and u install a bullet or midbox to increase compression, u are going to cause a lot of piston blow-by.. After that clean ur throttle body, and change a new filter.. I think these itself will cause u quite some money around RM1k ady..
