Hi guys, im planning to get a mechanical keyboard to play sc2 and i was wondering whether any of you guys uses a mechKB. im actually thinking of getting a brown switch. but ive been hearing that blacks are just as good as browns. So please do leave your valuable feedback here on this thread.

BTW does anyone use the REDs?

...and i thought,the purpose of this thread is to ask for the keyboard hotkey config/setup,not the type of keyboard used..

i use Cherry MX Blue.just bought recently,still in the getting-to-know-better phase,but it'll be better later on..

my advice? just take any keyboard that you are most comfortable to use with.remember,you're gonna spend a heck load of money for that particular keyboard.i don't think the keyboard will do its intended purpose for gaming right?you're gonna use that keyboard for other purpose,such as typing stuffs as well as playing games other than SC2.....

so,pick one that you are most comfortable with...find some demo units.try some typing on it.then,take which one suits you the most...remember, PERSONAL PREFERENCE!


btw, most people that i know, went for blue or brown for Sc2...

all mechanical keyboards are good... it jz depends on ur preferences...

in general, RTS players prefer tactile (blue/ brown) whereas FPS players prefer linear (black/red)... there are others but those are not mainstream atm...

those black red blue about which is better for gaming is all crap, like what d others says, find one that is comfortable. Generally people says black is for fps and brown for rts but nestea and idra uses black switch, while mma uses blue and rainbow uses red. It all depend on yourself.. im using black btw
