Just asking here first before done it. I don't want to upgrade to 5.1 yet. My question is, if I "Erase All Content and Settings" on my iPhone (that still on 5.0.1) did I need to sign with Apple server to complete? My iPhone still ok but I feels like want to "Erase iPhone" not in Restore mode via iTunes.

QUOTE(azraeil @ Mar 17 2012, 10:10 PM) You cannot restore to a firmware version that is no longer signed by Apple. Added on March 17, 2012, 10:12 pmYou can try BUT majority of people has reported that this will brick the iPhone. The jailbreak process will move some of the system files and if you do the erase all content method, the OS will be confused as it cannot find the system files thus bricking the phone. And if that happen then the last option will be restore it to iOS 5.1 firmware. Dem.
